Door holding magnet for maritime fire protection doors
Introducing the GTR050 and GTR070 Door Holding Magnets – your certified solution for maritime fire protection doors.
Especially in shipbuilding and maritime environments, reliable fire protection devices are essential to ensure maximum safety. Attached to fire doors, Kendrion door holding magnets with holding forces of 490 or 1372 N effectively secure the doors in the open position. In the event of a fire alarm or the triggering of a smoke detection centre, the door holding magnets immediately release the door lock when the power supply is interrupted, thus reducing the risk of fire.
With their vacuum-tight IP65 housing and strict VdS quality control, the door holding magnets in the GTR marine series guarantee optimum functionality and reliability. The marine models fulfil the EN1155 and EN14637 standards and have DNV-CG-0339 type approval for use in maritime environments.
