A CODESYS starter kit is assembled in no time and is ready to be used within a few minutes. The programme creation as well as the connection of the programme with the control unit are explained in detail with examples available in the download area.

Codesys starterkit motion optimally supported with PLCopen.

The Starterkit Motion is an extended starter kit with a drive controller and associated motor. In combination with the FIO Drive Control Module and the motor, a wide variety of practical solutions can be generated. The operation and diagnostics of the drive is optimally supported by convenient PLCopen function blocks and visualisation templates of Motion Control Library by KENDRION.

The Starterkit PLC & I/O offers the full intelligence of an industrial PC (IPC), but only has the relevant control tasks interfaces. On the other hand, it also costs significantly less than a conventional IPC and is small enough to fit on any standard DIN rail. The PLC simultaneously supports CANopen® and EtherCAT® master. In addition, the LAN interface can be used for data acquisition in an Industry 4.0 environment.

The Starterkit Target Visu uses a PLC with 7" display, Scout, wich is an embedded PC with CODESYS V3 PLC and integrated 7" touch screen for CODESYS Target visualisation. The Panel PLC supports CANopen® as well as EtherCAT®-Master. Both fieldbus systems can be easily configured in CODESYS.

By connecting with the EtherCAT® I/O system, FIO by KENDRION, with “easy to clip-on” digital as well as analogue I/O, function and gateway modules, the the intelligent display can be expanded to a complete, customised and decentralised distributed control and operating solution.

CODESYS starterkit hmi extension PLC Development System.

Expand your starter kit with the Starterkit HMI Extension from KENDRION and experience the advantages of CODESYS HMI for embedded devices. The PLC programming and the creation of the visualisation is realised with the free CODESYS Development System. Programme a PLC according to the international standard IEC 61131-3 and then, using the same programme, visualise it on a separate HMI device. In contrast to a web terminal, the visualisation is not calculated and displayed in the control unit but in the display. This saves the resources of the control unit.
