The new modular FIO Controller 111 combines the advantages of a compact controller with the possibilities of a modular PLC. The ARM-based Kuhnke FIO Controller 111 is programmed with CODESYS V3 and has integrated analog I/Os and motion functionality.

With the help of the integrated configurable IOs including fast counters, analog value processing, pulse train outputs (PTO) and encoder inputs, numerous additional functions such as the control of two synchronized axes can be implemented in a cost-optimized manner. For a high degree of flexibility, the controller has Industrial Ethernet, CAN and RS485 communication interfaces as well as EtherCAT. Additional communication channels can also be opened up through the use of interface and bus modules. A µSD card enables the local storage of process data and the exchange of control programs.

The FIO Controller is suitable for numerous automation tasks in the field of mechanical engineering. Typical applications also include power generation, equipment manufacturing, testing facilities, cleaning systems and special machine construction.

The Kuhnke FIO Controller 116 is a PLC based on i.MX6 that is programmed with CODESYS V3. The controller has an SD card slot and offers numerous communication interfaces as standard (LAN, USB, CAN, RS-232, EtherCAT E-bus) as well as fieldbus interfaces (EtherCAT, CANopen, Modbus RTU and TCP) and thus offers a wide range of functions and options for use in automation.

With its integrated analog I/Os, the new FIO Controller 111 is perfectly suited to measuring various sensors for monitoring external influences such as pressure, water flow, humidity and light. With the help of the compact and smart controller, irrigation systems, for example, can be monitored and controlled depending on the temperature.

The new FIO controller impresses with its compact design, motion capability and integrated interfaces as a universal support in mechanical engineering. The free Kendrion motion library according to PLCopen includes various modes (positioning mode (absolute/relative), speed mode, reference mode), which enables simple and reliable automation of handling machines or feed systems, for example. The controller also has two PTO interfaces for low-cost motor output stages with clock-direction inputs as well as digital inputs for limit and reference switches.

Modern industrial ovens are a very important component of bread baking systems. They guarantee excellent baking for the most delicate products and at the same time
the uniformity of the end product. The modular expandable PLC FIO Controller 111 with integrated IOs is cost-effective and is used in an industrial baking oven series. In addition to
