Exceptional people drive exceptional results. In 2012, we launched our High Potential (HiPo) program, a 3-years comprehensive global learning and development program that provides young talents with the ability, organizational commitment, and motivation all they need to become future leaders or specialists, and help secure Kendrion’s long-term success.

Modules covered in this three-year program include topics such as personal agenda setting, self-management, teamwork, finance, team management, conflict management and leadership. As this program develops from year to year, additional modules such as sustainability, diversity and strategy can be added when appropriate.

Participant requirements

To be eligible for our High Potential Program, employees must:

  • Be nominated by the responsible Business Group Director
  • Have been employed by Kendrion for at least 2 years
  • Be fluent in English (all training modules are in English)
  • Have proven commitment and success in existing projects or special assignments

My HiPo group started in spring 2023, virtually. Lots of new faces; people that I hadn’t met or worked with before. I'm really looking forward to the modules because that’s when I’ll finally meet my HiPo colleagues in person! I'm really looking forward to our final module in Amsterdam. The three years have gone by so fast, but it has been great to see how we've all grown, step by step. And, looking at former HiPos, it's great to see where the program, commitment and solid work can take you.

All the modules I and my group worked on contained some new and valuable information that we can use in business and our personal life. My favorite module so far is Conflict Management. This included a case that showed that in certain conflict situations, people's behavior reflects that of animals. Since this module, every time I see some kind of conflict, I view people as a Lion, a Rabbit or a Doe (a female deer). It's funny, but it's also useful!

When I started with my master thesis at Kendrion many years ago, I never dreamt I would get this far. For instance, the HiPo program helped me get where I am today (personally and with methodical tools).
