Precision and reliability for your laboratory and analysis technology
Kendrion offers a comprehensive portfolio of customised and ready-to-use components and systems for laboratory and analytical technology. Our solutions are based on state-of-the-art solenoid technology and pneumatic and fluid technology and are used in a wide range of laboratory devices and systems.
We supply fluidic solutions for the precise control of liquids and gases in demanding applications such as ultrapure water treatment, gas chromatography and TOC analysis. In addition, we develop reliable interlock solutions that are specially tailored to laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, incubators, laboratory hoods and washing machines. For optical applications, we offer shutter solutions that ensure the highest precision in microscopes, for example.

Oxygen solenoid valves with fine filter in TOC analyzers
TOC analyzers are used to determine the content of total organic carbon (TOC) in liquid and solid samples. Kendrion oxygen valves are responsible for the precise dosing of the oxygen required for the analysis in TOC instruments.
Advantages
- Grease-free for analytical applications
- Fine filter to eliminate chips and particles
- Extremely durable and failsafe

Oscillating solenoids for particle analysis
Analytical sieve shakers are used for separation, fractioning, and particle size determination. Our controllable electromagnetic drive makes sure that the sieve can be adapted to any bulk material. By producing a 3D throwing motion, the product to be sieved moves equally over the whole sieving surface. It effects that the size of the particles will separate the mesh. Sharp fractions are obtainable even after very short sieving times.
Advantages
- High performance with a compact design
- Ideally minimized eddy current losses
- Universal installation options

Mixing & dosing of fuel gases in FAAS
In flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (FAAS), fuel gases must be mixed and controlled with high precision to ensure stable flame formation and reproducible measurement results. Kendrion’s compact 10 mm proportional valves of the 63 series combine a space-saving design with excellent control performance—ideal for mixing air–acetylene or nitrous oxide–acetylene in analytical instruments.
Key benefits:
Precise control of fuel gas mixtures for FAAS
PWM or constant-current control, including dithering
Compact design with standardized flange pattern
Scalable orifice sizes from 0.5 to 1.0 mm
Various sealing materials available (NBR, FKM, EPDM)
