Small but with big functions
The bistable locking magnet LLB impresses with its diverse possibilities - battery operation, position monitoring, and emergency unlocking.
In addition to high security and quality, the compact bistable locking magnet LLB offers many other advantages. The magnet can be operated with a battery for mobile applications such as locking toolboxes or hospital side tables. Due to its energy-saving functional principle - only a short current increase is required for locking - at least 50,000 switching operations can be achieved with a battery.
The LBB can be equipped with a Hall sensor for end position detection. The functionality of the bistable lock can thus be safely monitored. Manual emergency unlocking can also be ensured as an option.
Energy-saving design
The bistable locking unit is based on a lifting magnet that can be operated via a power supply unit as well as a battery. The locking bolt is held open with the help of a return spring. When the power is supplied, the magnet triggers, and the bolt is extended. The locking bolt is kept currentless in the closed state by the force of a permanent magnet. Depending on the version, the solenoid can save up to 95% energy, but the bolt still reliably withstands lateral forces of 1.000 N.
