Graphical HMI Systems for CODESYS-Compatible Controllers
Kendrion Vico operator panels are embedded visualisation systems for machine operation. The panels are available in various display sizes and resolutions and are optionally equipped with multitouch functionality. Vico operator panels are more cost-effective than an IPC and connect CODESYS-compatible controllers with a graphical operator interface.
Vico HMI – CODESYS HMI Control Panel The Vico HMI executes the visualisation program locally on the operator panel. It connects via Ethernet to multiple CODESYS-compatible controllers simultaneously, with individual variable mapping configurable per controller. The visualisation environment is part of the CODESYS Development System; no additional licence costs apply. The Vico HMI supports process data from CODESYS V2.3 and CODESYS V3 controllers. The visualisation requires no processor performance from the connected PLC and does not require any program extension of the controller.
Vico WEB – Web Terminal The Vico WEB provides an HTML5-capable browser and retrieves the visualisation from the web server of the connected PLC. The connection to multiple CODESYS-compatible controllers is established via the HTTP protocol using CODESYS WebVisu. No additional licence costs apply. The Vico WEB supports all visualisation functions of CODESYS web visualisation and is suitable for extensions and modernisations of existing installations.
