The analog Kuhnke FIO module AI8-PT/NI/Thermo has up to 8 individually programmable inputs. The configuration takes place via the process image. The temperature inputs allow direct connection of resistive sensors and thermocouples. A microprocessor converts the linearization over the entire temperature range. For special requirements of the temperature range also customized specifications can be provided on request. All inputs are digitized with a resolution of 16 bit and transmitted electrically isolated to the master control. The signal state of each channel is indicated by the terminals associated LEDs. Because of the channel seperated configuration, the variety of modules within a system can be significantly reduced.
