The Kuhnke FIO Stepper Control module from Kendrion allows the control of 3 axis with up to 16 micro steps. For each motor, it offers 2 outputs for the motor phases A and B, 1 break output, 1 input for reference switches, 2 inputs for limit switches as well as the motor supply in the voltage area from 12 to 48 V DC. The configuration of the motor can comfortably be realized via a CAN over EtherCAT (CoE). Using the Stepper Control module, 3-axis gantries can be controlled with only one module. The Stepper Control module is accordingly the price optimized alternative to the function optimized FIO Drive Control module.
