Individual customer-specific I/O modules
Decentralised Functional Units for EtherCAT, CANopen and PROFINET
Kendrion custom I/O modules are decentralised functional units with a fixed configured number of digital I/O points, counters and analogue value inputs. Design, development, approvals and production are carried out by Kendrion according to customer specifications.
The modules optionally integrate special functions such as voltage level monitoring, wire break detection, switching functions, speed control and rotating field detection in a single device. Operating hour counters support preventive maintenance measures and reduce unplanned downtime.
The modules are designed for EtherCAT, CANopen and PROFINET networks. The fixed functional configuration reduces engineering effort and enables straightforward wiring as a plug-and-play solution for series applications.
Variants with integrated control functionality enable operation as a compact controller for small machines and automated systems. These variants support the connection of an operator terminal.
